Everyone is welcome in McGillin’s flower-filled outside dining area — vaccinated and unvaccinated and even Cowboys fans. In response to the latest mandates put in place by the City of Philadelphia, McGillin’s will ask for proof of vaccine for indoor dining. We believe this is the safest path forward for all guests and staff and their families.

Philly’s oldest bar has survived Prohibition and the pandemic of 1918 and we plan to survive this pandemic too. We’ll supply the beer and in return we ask you for understanding, help and kindness as we get through this together. Let’s all drink to that!

The historic bar has a full bar with dozens of beers including its three house beers, wine and select seasonal cocktails. The Terrace Menu features McGillin’s most popular appetizers and sandwiches like wings, nachos, the BIG burger, cheesesteak, grilled chicken breast, grilled Reuben and other crowd pleasers, (not the full 10-page menu.)
Daily specials not currently available but we do have $5 food and drink specials on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 5-7 pm.
We have 50 seats and high tops outside by our iconic sign, plus 2 flatscreen TVs and space heaters.
