PHILLY BEER WEEK
 Philly Beer Week (May 31 - June 9) would not be complete without a visit to Philadelphia's oldest continuously operating tavern. And here are lots of great reasons to stop by:
Lunch with the Stoudts -- Meet Carol & Ed Stoudt,
brewers of McGillin's Genuine Lager, McGillin's Real Ale & McGillin's 1860 IPA.Tuesday, June 4 from 12-1:30 p.m. Lots of tastings. No cover.
PA Brewers Meet & Greet -- Round Guys, Susquehanna & Yuengling Brewers & Reps will join us for a few pints & fun times. Thursday, June 6 from 5-7 p.m. No cover.

LOCAL POUR TOUR
Our full day BREWERY TOUR features a full breakfast, luxury transportation and stops at 3 breweries for tastings & snacks on Sunday, June 9.
Brewery Tour Includes:
- Kegs & eggs at McGillin's at 9 a.m.
- Twin Lakes Brewery in Greenville, Delaware for beer/tour
- Boxcar Brewery in West Chester, PA for more beer/snacks
- Yards Brewery back in Philadelphia for even more beer/snacks
- Transportation in a luxury coach (with a loo).
- Returning to McGillin's after 5 p.m.

CINCO DE MAYO
On Sunday, May 5, we'll throw a Mexican celebration with an Irish twist! We'll start the day with Mexican brunch (Eggs Enchilada, Breakfast Burrito) & end the day with Mexi-Karaoke. In between, we'll have a fiesta with Mexican food & drinks. And..
From May 1-5 we'll serve Mexican food & drinks. Including Frozen Strawberry, Peach & Watermelon Margaritas, Blue Margarita (with blue Curacao) & McGillin's Margarita (Tequila, Triple Sec, Sour Mix & fresh lime). Frozen Peach Daiquiris, Rum Runners & Malibu Bay Breezes along with McGillin's large selection of local & regional beers.
Plus Irish Chimichanga (an Irish cheesesteak gone Cinco de Mayo), Burger Con Queso & Corona Beer Battered Fresh Fish & Chips. Tortilla Soup, Fresh Fish Santa Fe, Fajita Salad, Drunken Chicken & The Three Amigos (a burrito/taco platter).
UPCOMING EVENTS & MORE
Administrative Assistants Day -- Bring your group here on Wednesday, April 24 for a fun, casual lunch of fresh, inexpensive comfort food. Includes a free bowl of soup with every lunch.
Phillies -- During home games, $7 pitchers of Yuengling Lager Light. For away games, $6.50 pitchers Bud Light. Plus nightly specials. Don't miss our Grand Slam sandwich (knockwurst wrapped in bacon with cheddar, lettuce and tomato).
Kentucky Derby -- Watch the race on our high-def and projector screen TVs on Saturday, May 4. We'll have fresh mint juleps, hot browns (sliced, roasted turkey on Texas toast with bacon, tomato and cheese cream sauce), contest for best hat and more.
Graduations -- One last chance to relive those crazy years and relieve those "gotta-fine-a-job" anxieties at McGillin's. And, consider having your celebration in our 2nd floor party room. Memorial Day -- Three day weekends mean one more day to party! On Sunday, May 2 6 we'll be serving our famous red-white-and-blue freedom cocktails! On Monday, May 27, we'll be closed to give our awesome staff time to enjoy the holiday.
Karaoke -- Karaoke has moved upstairs on Wednesday nights. Singers enjoy the tight space and non-singers enjoy a quieter first floor. What hasn't changed is that we still have award-winning karaoke on Sunday & Wednesday nights so you can sing (or drink) your heart out.
AMERICA'S GREENEST IRISH BAR
McGillin's wants to be America's Greenest Irish Bar! We've developed a zero waste plan that involves recycling, composting kitchen waste & biodegradable restaurant trash with compostable and biodegradable options. Long-term we'd like to get the whole Midtown Village neighborhood involved by replacing the dumpsters on Drury Street with a community recycling, composting area.
